St Mary Youth Group

All youth grades 7^th – 12^th are invited to be a part of the youth group. Meetings are every Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in the Annex, unless otherwise posted.

Our youth directors are Tom & Jeanetta Betzen. You may contact Tom or Jeanetta at 226-1771.

We are planning two fundraisers to help with expenses for out “Stew Pot” trip to Dallas this upcoming summer to feed the homeless. Churches in the two state areas get together for the entire summer and staff a mission kitchen for the homeless and needy. Our Youth have gone for several years with the exception of last year. It is an extremely worthwhile endeavor; however, it is costly for us. The Youth Group is going to sell chances soon for a 42” Plasma Television and then a little later we will sponsor a Ham & Bean Dinner for the community. Please keep the Youth of our church in your thoughts and prayers as they earn funds to go on this Mission Trip.

Please keep the November Youth Group Garage Sale in mind as you clear out your summer items and straighten up your homes for the upcoming season.

Save your receipts from the Bingo Convenience Store (see ad with pizza on back of bulletin). The youth group will receive 10% of all receipts collected for food purchases.

The Youth Group would like to say THANK YOU again to Mike Brooks and ColorPro Designs for the marvelous job that was done on our bus. We would like to thank Mike's wife and children for allowing him to spend so much of his time helping the Youth of our church. Thank you also to Michelle Brooks for helping us prep the bus and get it ready for her dad to paint it.

A big thanks also goes out to MODESTO SIGNS, INC. for the donation of the signs that are located at the front and rear of the bus. When Mike went to pay for the signs at Modesto on West Broadway they let him know that they were happy to make the signs and wanted no payment.
